Last week we worked with two amazing clients, Jamie and Chris! Each had different goals for their Fully Polished Closet Audit and we had so much fun helping them make fashion feel more accessible in their day-to-day! Here’s a sneak peak of their audits!
Jamie: new mommy to a handsome little man who has lost the baby weight and is ready to re-imagine her wardrobe for her lifestyle as a working mom. We cleared out a lot of items that dated back to high school and created some amazing looks for her to start wearing right away!
Chris: a personal trainer, mom to two adorable little ones, needed some help clearing out her closet and organizing it in a way that made picking looks easy and seamless. Chris had an array of amazing pieces to work with, we just needed to remove some items that she had held onto from her corporate days and make dressing for her current lifestyle easy to navigate!

Textures and prints can turn basics like a plain white tee or a pair of skinny jeans into a knock-out look. They allow your style to be elevated and create statement worthy looks. Never be intimidated to mix prints and textures, the key, as always, is to keep it simple and polished.
One of the more interesting trends for Fall is the incorporation of Spring’s pastels. These soft hues play nicely with the rich browns and jewel tones that are more common this time of year. A simple sweater paired with boots and a blazer is a great look for your everyday – work or play. You could also dress it up with a pastel midi skirt, chunky knit and booties. The possibilities to enjoy this trend are endless…and not to mention how these playful colors can add some brightness to a chilly Fall day 🙂
On Thursday I attended the Rowe Boutique Fashion Show – Night Fall – at the Ivory Room. Everything about it was glam and glitz – it brought the most fashionable out in Columbus and for a great cause, The Jack Roth Fund. The Ivory Room was DECKED OUT, chandeliers sparkled and strung lights glistened, the DJ killed it the entire night, and the food, including Kittie’s Cakes, was absolutely delicious – not to mention the continuous flow of Moscow Mules 🙂 I had worn a fun faux leather skirt to work and decided to keep with that and make a quick change to my shoes and top as I was coming from work and needed to be there right on time to secure a ticket! Here’s what I pulled off!
Kate – being the AWESOME wife that she is – surprised her husband with a trip to Nashville for his birthday! On the trip Kate was a chic Nashville lady, keeping cool in the heat in ladylike shorts and breezy maxi dresses!
